Join Chloe in this short ‘think & learn’ exercise, exploring everyday situations that could potentially be scams.

She will present you with some situations you may come across in real life – messages, offers, requests, or online interactions – and asked how you would respond.

Then, she will explore the thinking behind each choice, helping you understand why certain situations may be risky and how scammers use trust, urgency, and emotion to influence decisions.

If you receive a suspicious text message, phone call or email make sure you pause, think, then decide.

Scammers are clever - be confident and trust that warning voice in your head when something is not quite right.

PAUSE

Take a moment.

You don’t have to reply right away - or at all.

You can stop the conversation whenever you like.

THINK

If something feels “off,” listen to that feeling.

Your intuition is there to help you - trust it.

DECIDE

Ask yourself, does this seem real?

It’s never silly or embarrassing to double-check, everyone does it.

And if it doesn’t feel right, you can report it.
